More scattered storms

Posted: Aug 09, 2018 5:58 AM Updated:

Good Thursday.  We are looking at some possible drizzles this morning along with some patchy areas of fog.  Temps are a bit lower this morning in the upper 60s and low 70s.  Do expect more scattered thunderstorms on and off through the afternoon and evening hours.  Heavy rain and lightning will be the biggest threats, but one or two storms producing strong winds and small hail is a possibility.  The high today will reach 85.

Friday will be just about the same with a high of 84 and more scattered storms likely through the afternoon.

Saturday we will warm a bit to the upper 80s as our rain chances diminish quite a bit.  While a stray shower or storm in the afternoon is possible, they will be few and far between.  I will put the rain chance Saturday at 10%.

Sunday we will have another weak front moving through in the afternoon which will provide a few scattered thunderstorms for Sunday afternoon.  The high Sunday will be 86 degrees.

Next week we will only have slight chances for any rain each day allowing us to warm back up to 90 degrees.
