UPDATE: Several Tennessee Valley electric crews are helping restore power to areas impacted by Tropical Storm Florence.

Crews with the Athens Utilities Board have been working in Greenville, North Carolina.

"While the people of Greenville have plenty to do to recover from the storm, the city was spared significant damage, such that the utility there has released the AUB crews to help elsewhere," an AUB spokesperson explained.

AUB crews are now relocating to Fayetteville, North Carolina, to help get the lights back on..

The Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative is working with Four County Electric Membership Corporation in North Carolina to help with power outages.
